RI has a crucial role in ligand-binding and signaling. Ligand IFN-? induces tyrosine phosphorylation in IFN-? RI which in turn leads to the formation of a docking site on the activated receptor for Stat1 that specifically activates IFN-? induced gene transcription. Anti-Interferon ? Receptor I (IFN-? RI) antibody can be used in neutralization assay using a confluent culture of HeLa cells. Goat anti-Interferon ? Receptor I (IFN-? RI) antibody reacts specifically with recombinant human IFN-? RI. The product has shown no cross-reactivity for recombinant human IFN-? RII.
