Descrição detalhada : The gene K2P1.1 (two pore domain K+ channel), also referred to as KCNK1 (potassium two pore domain channel subfamily K member 1), encodes a protein that spans a length of 337-amino acids. It contains four transmembrane regions and the characteristic sequence of potassium channels in the two pore regions. The protein is found to be exclusively expressed in distal tubule. The gene is mapped to human chromosome 1q42.2.
