Descrição detalhada : The gene Kcnh6 (potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily H member 6), also referred to as erg2, encodes a subunit of ether-à-go-go related (erg) K+ channels. The erg K+ channels are part of the EAG (ether-à-go-go) family of voltage-gated K+ channels. The encoded protein is found to be expressed in the rat retina. The three isoforms erg1, erg2, and erg3 are found to be expressed in the brain. They are strongly expressed in the olfactory bulb.
