Strongly inhibits anti-APO-1 induced apoptosis in L929-APO-1 cells., Interleukin-1beta converting enzyme (ICE) is a cysteine protease that cleaves the IL-1beta precursor to mature IL-1beta. ICE inhibitor I is a potent, specific, and reversible inhibitor of ICE (Ki = 200 pM for human recombinant ICE). Strongly inhibits anti-APO-1 induced apoptosis in L929-APO-1 cells.
