The FGFb gene spanning 34271 bp on genomic DNA contains 16 exons and six introns. FGFb RNA transcripts are expressed in various human tissues including liver, thymus, spleen, peripheral blood leukocytes, heart skeletal muscle, testis, colon and kidney.
