Descrição detalhada : Histone H2A deubiquitinase MYSM, often referred to as 2A-DUB is metalloprotease that specifically deubiquitinates monoubiquitinated histone H2A. 2A-DUB regulates transcription by coordinating histone acetylation and deubiquitination, and destabilizing the association of linker histone H1 with nucleosomes. The 2A-DUB mechanism may just be one of many H2A ubiquitination proteins that have the ability to regulate transcription. 2A-DUB is also essential for cell cycle progression and gene expression.
