EZ-Fit(R) Filtration Unit

Descrição detalhada : The EZ-FIT(R) filtration unit is a disposable filtration device made of black, gridded, mixed cellulose esters (MCE) membrane and a blue base with a cellulose support pad. The units are sterile and are designed to optimize and secure the laboratory workflow to provide time saving and reliable microbiological results. A vented lid covers the sample throughout filtration, and a 360 rim prevents forceps from accidentally touching the membrane filtration area during membrane transfer. The funnel material is clear and transparent and allows for visualizing the end of the filtration from any angle. The blue units allow to either transfer the membrane to an agar plate or convert the device into a Petri dish by adding the liquid media, after filtration. The EZ-FIT(R) filtration units minimize sample residue and prevent leakages and bypassing of the liquid sample from the membrane. Base plugs are provided with the bulk packaged filtration units, to be used while culturing the ampoule liquid media. The units can be stacked to save the work area and are designed to fit onto the EZ-FIT(R) Manifold, which features specific EZ-FIT(R) Filtration heads. It can also fit onto a standard #8 stopper.
