Descrição detalhada : Bone and tooth implant materials have been prepared from polycrystalline hydroxyapatite. The compressive, flexural, torsional and dynamic torsional strengths of polycrystalline hydroxyapatite were investigated. Electrophoretic deposition of hydroxyapatite on to flat titanium plate material has been studied., Hydroxyapatite is a bioceramic mainly found in minerals of bone and teeth. Due to its high biocompatibility and similarity with inorganic components found in hard tissues, it is mainly used to produce biocomposites and prostheses for bones and teeth replacement.
