Descrição detalhada : A metabolically stable and selective P2X purinergic receptor agonist (pEC50 = 5.81) that is shown to be more potent than ATP. Elicits contractions in ileum through the release of endogenous acetylcholine, which can be blocked by tetrodotoxin (~1 mM). Shown to depolarize cells of the longitudinal muscle strips (~ 200 nM to 4 µM) that reaches a peak within 2-3 min after application and then decays to a steady level.
