Descrição detalhada : ANKHD1 (ankyrin repeat and KH domain containing 1) is a large protein, with a molecular weight of >280kDa. It contains a single KH (K homology) domain and multiple ankyrin repeats. This gene is localized to human chromosome 5q31.3, and encodes an 8kb transcript. It is alternatively transcribed to three isoforms. Isoform 1 is highly expressed in cervix, brain, spleen and lungs. It has low expression in lymph node, kidney, and muscle cells.
