Descrição detalhada : GPR125 (G protein-coupled receptor 125) is a candidate marker for human spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs). It is expressed in adult mice testis and is found in long-term pre-pubertal testicular cell cultures that contain SSCs. It is an orphan GPCR. It is a homolog of TEM5 protein, and thus, is also known as TEM5-like protein. This protein is composed of 1205 amino acids, and shares homology to B family of GPCRs. This gene is localized to human chromosome 4p15.
