Descrição detalhada : 16:0 PEG2000 PE, also known as 1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine-N-[methoxy(polyethylene glycol)-2000] (DPPEmPEG2000), is a polyethylene glycol (mPEG) phospholipid conjugate. Incorporation of PEG-modified lipid conjugates in liposomes facilitates the formation of sterically stabilized liposomes (SSL), which have low reticuloendothelial system (RES) uptake and prolonged circulation lifetimes. These properties aid the PEGylated liposomes to spontaneously deliver drugs to targeted cells.
