Descrição detalhada : 7?,24(R/S)-dihydroxycholestenone-d7 is a deuterated derivative of the oxysterol 7?,24(R/S)-dihydroxycholestenone. 7?,24-dihydroxy-3-oxocholest-4-en-26-oic acid is synthesized from 3?,7?,24 S-trihydroxycholest-5-en-(25 R)26-oic acid ((25 R)CA5-3?,7?,24 S-triol) in the presence of enzyme 3?-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 7 (HSD3B7). 7?,24(S)-dihydroxycholestenone is also derived by the 7?-hydroxylation of 24S hydroxycholesterol (24S-HC) in the presence of enzyme oxysterol 7-?-hydroxylase 2 (CYP39A1).
