Descrição detalhada : This MQuant(R) Ammonium test (formally MColortest(R)) is suitable for the colorimetric determination using the easy to use color card. The evaluation considers the untreated sample so even turbid and colored water samples can be analyzed. The test measures both ammonium ions and dissolved ammonia in e.g. groundwater and surface water, seawater, drinking water and aquarium water. Ammonium nitrogen (NH4-N) occurs partly in the form of ammonium ions and partly as ammonia. A pH-dependent equilibrium exists between the two forms. MethodAmmonium ions react with Neßler's reagent to form a yellow-brown compound.
