Descrição detalhada : ANBL-6 is a well-established model for MM.3 In culture ANBL-6 cell proliferation is dependent on IL-6, a critical component of the bone marrow microenvironment supporting tumor growth.2 Transcriptomic analysis of ANBL-6 cells demonstrated a high correlation with genetic signatures of primary MM tumors.2 ANBL-6 cells home to hematopoietic tissues in a mouse model, with a growth phenotype characteristic of smoldering (indolent) rather than an aggressive form of MM.2 Although derived from peripheral blood, ANBL-6 recapitulates many of the phenotypes associated with primary plasma cell tumors in the bone marrow. ANBL-6 is a highly representative cellular model of multiple myeloma.
