Descrição detalhada : Annexin V is a member of the annexin family of calcium and membrane-binding proteins that have anticoagulatory and anti-inflammatory properties. The encoded protein is 320 amino acid long and is folded into four domains, each having five ?-helices, forming a superhelical globular structure. The ANX5 gene is mapped to human chromosome 4q26-q28 and spans a length of 28kb containing 13 exons and 12 introns.
