Descrição detalhada : Actin/ actin ?(ACTB) is encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 7p15-p12. In mammals, actin protein consists of six different isoforms encoded by separate genes. The four isoforms ?skeletal-actin, ?cardiac-actin, ?smooth-actin, and ? smooth-actin are expressed in skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscle. The other two isoforms, ? cyto-actin and ? cyto-actin are ubiquitously expressed.
