Aggregates of amyloid beta peptide are found deposited in the brains of Alzheimer's patients., Rabbit anti-beta-amyloid (22-35) antibody specifically recognizes beta-amyloid (22-35), beta-amyloid (25-35), beta-amyloid (1-40) and beta-amyloid (1-42) and does not react with beta-amyloid (32-35) and beta-amyloid (35-25) by ELISA. The antibody detects beta-amyloid (1-40) by immunoblotting (approx. 4kDa). Staining of the beta-amyloid (1-40) band in immunoblotting is specifically inhibited by the immunizing peptide.
