Monoclonal anti-?-tubulin isotype III antibody can be used in microarray and western blotting. It can also be used in immunoblotting. Mouse anti-?-tubulin isotype III antibody reacts specifically with an epitope present on the ?-tubulin (isotype III) of bovine, rat, mouse, boar and human but not with tubulin present in chicken brain preparation or in a chicken fibroblasts cell line., Tubulin ? 3 class III (TUBB3) encodes for the microtubule protein tubulin ??3, which is majorly expressed in neurons. The gene is located on human chromosome 16q24.3.
