The encoded protein is mainly expressed on luminal surfaces of inflamed vasculature., Monoclonal anti-E-selectin (CD62E) (mouse IgG1 isotype) is derived from the 1.2B6 hybridoma produced by the fusion of mouse myeloma cells and splenocytes from BALB/c mice immunized with TNF-? activated human endothelial cells. This antibody reacts specifically with E-selectin (CD62E) expressed on the surface of activated endothelial cells. The antibody may weakly cross-react with recombinant human P-selectin and human platelet P-selectin. Cross-reactivity has been observed with porcine E-selectin.It is a 140KDa protein mainly expressed in endothelial cells. E- selectin is characterized with an N-terminal domain, epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like domain, lectin (ligand-binding) domain, variable short consensus repeats and transmembrane domain.
