Descrição detalhada : Lnk is an SH2B3 multidomain adaptor protein that is primarily expressed in lymphocytes. It contains the characteristic pleckstrin homology (PH); src homology 2 (SH2); dimerization; and proline-rich domains. Lnk functions as a negative regulator of B cell proliferative processes via interaction with Jak2 and Mpl proteins, and inhibition of the PI3/Akt/STAT5 signaling pathway. Previous studies have implicated Lnk in celiac disease type 13.
