Descrição detalhada : Macrophages and granulocytes express Signal regulatory protein (SIRP), which is a transmembrane glycoprotein involved in the down regulation of tyrosine kinase receptor signal transduction induced by cell adhesion, growth factors or insulin. They are immunoglobulin-like cell surface receptor for CD47. By CD47 binding there is a negative regulation of phagocytosis, mast cell activation and dendritic cell activation that prevents maturation of immature dendritic cells and inhibits cytokine production by mature dendritic cells.
