Descrição detalhada : Anti-Myocardin specifically recognizes human, rat and chicken myocardin (MYOCD). Myocardin is encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 17p11.2. It contains a conserved SAP (SAF-A/B, Acinus, and PIAS) domain, involved in the regulation of nuclear organization, chromosomal dynamics and apoptosis. The encoded protein is expressed in a precise developmentally regulated, lineage-restricted pattern in the embryo and during postnatal development.
