Descrição detalhada : The Na-K-Cl cotransporter 1 (NKCC1) is a membrane protein coded by the SLC12A2 gene and functions in cellular sodium/potassium/chloride transport and homeostasis. It is widely distributed throughout the body and serves important functions, especially in liquid-secreting glands. Phosphorylation of Thr212/Thr217 in the intracellular N-terminal domain of NKCC1 is correlated with NKCC1 activation.
