Descrição detalhada : The gene K2P4.1, also referred to as KCNK4 (potassium two pore domain channel subfamily K member 4), encodes a protein belonging to the subfamily of K2P (two pore domain K+ channel) channels called TRAAK (TWIK-related arachidonic acid-stimulated K+ channel). The TRAAK channels are expressed selectively in the nervous system. TRAAK channel contains two protomers, each with two distinct pore domains forming a two-fold symmetric potassium channel.
