Two families of potassium channel exists- one with inwardly rectifying potassium channel and the other with voltage sensing (KV) big conductance, calcium activated (BKCA ) small conductance and calcium activated (SK) potassium channel. KV1.5 channel is O2 sensitive, so hypoxia inhibits the expression of KV1.5 channel through 15-HETE pathway. Anti-Potassium Channel Kv1.5 antibody reacts specifically with full length Kv1.5 protein of rat and mouse.
