Descrição detalhada : TRIO (trio Rho guanine nucleotide exchange factor) gene is mapped to human chromosome 5p15.2. The encoded protein contains three functional domains that include the serine/threonine kinase domain, and two guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) domains specific for Rac1 and RhoA, members of the family of Rho-like GTPases. The GEF domains contain a DH-domain (Dbl-homology domain) that may be involved in the exchange factor activity and oncogenic ability of the Dbl oncogene.
