Descrição detalhada : Tubulin is an extremely conserved and negatively charged protein. It is expressed in all eukaryotic cells, but mainly in brains., Microtubules are composed of tubulin and several additional proteins designated microtubule associated proteins (MAPs). Tubulin is a heterodimer which consists of an alpha-chain and a beta-chain, both of which have a molecular weight of approximately 55,000. Microtubules form an elaborate cytoplasmic network during interphase and are reorganized into the mitotic spindle during cell division.
