Descrição detalhada : 50 test strips for the detction of L-alanine aminopeptidase in microorganisms, BACTIDENT(TM) Aminopeptidase test strips contain L-alanine-4-nitroanilide as a substrate, which is split into 4-nitroaniline and the amino acid L-alanine in the presence of the enzyme alanine aminotransferase. The L-alanine aminopeptidase enzyme is localized in the cell envelope of bacteria, and the development of clear yellow coloration of 4-nitroaniline indicates the presence of the enzyme.
