Bromocresol Purple sodium salt

Descrição detalhada : Bromocresol Purple, also known as dibromo-o-cresolsulfonphthalein, is an acidic dye and belongs to the phthalein and sulphonphthalein dyes group. The dye color changes from yellow to violet at pH 5.2-6.8. The monosodium salt of the dye is 8% soluble in water and 2% in ethanol. Bromocresol Purple, under alkaline conditions, forms a hydrophilic, moderately sized dianion that is purple.
