Descrição detalhada : Carbol Fuchsin is a basic dye which forms a yellow-brown compound in presence of acid. It is mainly required for the staining of mycobacteria. The waxy walls of mycobacteria helps in retaining the dye within cells. It can also be used for the staining of bacterial spores.
