Descrição detalhada : Coomassie protein assay reagent is a protein analysis reagent used for the determination of total protein concentration. The Coomassie dye in the Coomassie (Bradford) reagent binds to protein in the sample leading to an immediate shift in absorption with a concomitant color change of the solution from red to blue. This spectrophotometric measurement of the intensity of this resulting blue color is used to determine the concentration of protein in solutions.
