Egg PG

Descrição detalhada : Phosphatidylglycerol (PG) is one of the major phospholipids in food and biological tissues. PG is the anionic phospholipid in the membranes of Staphylococcus sp. and Escherichia coli. PG is present in low amounts in mammalian membranes. Structurally, PG has two acyl chains esterified to a glycerol, bonded to a headgroup structure that has phosphate and carries negative charge. PG is synthesized from cytidine phosphate-diacylglycerol (CDP-DAG).
