The proprietary GDS PickPen(R), 8-Magnets is designed to transfer magnetic particles when working with Assurance(R) GDS pathogen detection kits. The incorporation of the PickPen(R) in the immunomagnetic separation (IMS) process improves the procedure by concentrating the target pathogenwhile decreasing carryover of background microflora without compromising the sensitivity.
