The Top 7 STEC (eae) Tq is an automated nucleic acid amplification system for the detection of the eae gene in the following Top 7 O serogroups of E. coli: O103, O111, O121, O145, O26, O45, and O157. Assurance(R) GDS utilizes a proprietary PickPen(R) IMS-based sample preparation procedure to quickly and effectively capture organisms belonging to the 7 specific Top STEC O serogroups prior to genetic analysis for the presence of the eae gene.
