Inhibits the vasorelaxing effects of nitric oxide., Antidiabetic sulfonylurea that selectively blocks ATP-sensitive K+ channels. Displays large potency difference in action on pancreatic tissue (IC50 in nM range) and vascular tissue (IC50 in µM range).
