Descrição detalhada : Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is the main type of glycoprotein antibody found in human serum, secreted by the B cells. It is found in blood and comprises four polypeptide chains, made of two identical 50 kDa gamma heavy (H) chains and two identical 25 kDa kappa or lambda light (L) chains. These chains are inter-linked by di-sulfide bonds. IgG exists in four isotypes IgG1, IgG2, IgG3 and IgG4. IgG has the longest serum half-life compared to other immunoglobulins.
