Descrição detalhada : GranuCult(R) prime Columbia Agar base is designed for the isolation of fastidious microorganisms from the food chain, water, pharmaceutical and other test samples.The medium with or without supplements exhibits high nutritional value for the growing microbes. Due to the presence of peptones including pancreatic digest of casein, peptic digest of meat and pancreatic digest of heart it supports superior growth. The vitamin sources are derived from yeast and maize extract included in the formulation. Agar supports as the solidifying agent.When supplemented with defibrinated sheep or horse blood, the growing microbes show typical hemolytic reactions.
