Descrição detalhada : Tryptic Soy Agar is a granulated, universal culture medium. It is free from inhibitors and indicators and has a wide spectrum of applications. The combination of the two peptones, the enzymatic digest of casein and soybean, provides high nutrition by supplying organic nitrogen, amino acids, and longer-chained peptides. Sodium chloride present in this complex medium provides the osmotic balance, while agar-agar is the solidifying agent.
