Three bowl shaped recesses, one 20 mm straight-through hole, one deep bowl-shaped hole, and one hole for a thermometer. 31/2 in. square x 3/4 in. thick., Aluminum blocks have excellent heat transfer rates and will not interfere with magnetic stirring. Replaces glass sand baths in microscale experiments. Use on top of stirring/hot plates.
