Descrição detalhada : Sensitive, specific detection of His.Tag fusion proteins, The HIS TAG(R) Monoclonal Antibody is a mouse monoclonal antibody (IgG1) directed against the HIS TAG(R) sequence encoded by many of the NOVAGEN(R) expression vectors as well as many other commercially available vectors. The antibody recognizes five consecutive histidine residues regardless of the surrounding amino acid context. The high affinity (Kd = 5 × 10-8 to 1 × 10-9 M) enables sensitive, specific detection of HIS TAG(R) fusion proteins at antibody concentrations of 0.1-0.2 g/ml. The HIS TAG(R) Monoclonal Antibody binds to N-terminal, C-terminal, and internal HIS TAG(R) sequences. This antibody also detects the recombinant marker bands in the Perfect Protein and Trail Mix Western Markers for convenient visualization of accurate internal standards on Western blots*. For lowest background in Western blotting applications, Alkali-soluble Casein is recommended as a blocking agent. The 100-g package size provides enough purified antibody for 1000 mL of working solution.* Not recommended for HRP-based detection of Trail Mix Western Markers.
