Descrição detalhada : A cell-permeable, irreversible, broad-spectrum caspase inhibitor (IC50 = 50, 100, 430, and <25 nM for caspase-1,-8, -9, and -3, respectively) with effective antiapoptotic properties against all major caspase-mediated cellular apoptosis pathways. Exhibits no cytotoxic effects even at extremely high concentrations. Shown to reduce ischemic brain damage and stroke-induced programmed cell death in thymus and spleen.
