The Milliflex(R) filtration possesses almost twice the surface area of standard membranes enabling faster filtration and the funnel can be easily detached from the membrane without the use of any tools. The convex shape of the membrane after filtration demonstrates the integrity of the membrane and prevents air bubbles from being trapped when placed on culture media.
