Since chronic inflammation and aberrant immune response contribute to many disease states, research involving cytokines and chemokines plays a significant role in achieving a deeper understanding of the etiology and progression of diseases such as infectious disease, autoimmune and chronic inflammatory disease, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, neurological disorders and cancer. The MILLIPLEX(R) Non-Human Primate Cytokine Panel II is a 25 plex kit to be used for the simultaneous quantification of any or all of the following analytes in monkey serum, plasma, tissue/cell lysate and culture supernatant samples: sCD137, Eotaxin, sFASL, FGF-2, Fractalkine, Granzyme A, Granzyme B, IL-1alpha, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-16, IL-17A, IL-17E/IL-25, IL-21, IL-22, IL-23, IL-28A, IL-31, IL-33, IP-10, MIP-3alpha, Perforin, RANTES and TNFbeta. The Luminex(R) xMAP(R) platform uses a magnetic bead immunoassay format for ideal speed and sensitivity to quantitate multiple analytes simultaneously, dramatically improving productivity while conserving valuable sample volume.
