Descrição detalhada : CD3e molecule, ? (CD3E) is a polypeptide encoded by the CD3E gene in humans. It resides on chromosome 11. The CD3? cytoplasmic domain of the T cell receptor binds to the inner leaflet of the plasma membrane (PM) and is accessible during early stages of T cell activation. It is specific for T lymphocytes and is found in Purkinje cells of the cerebellum as well as in gastric parietal cells of humans and other species. Cytoplasmic cyCD3 expression can only be seen during the early phase of NK-cell differentiation.
