It has various biological functions including antiviral activity like inhibition of cell or tumor growth, act as a potent modulator of immune responses and modifies cellular processes as well as stimulates the differentiation of B cells into immunoglobulin-producing cells. Monoclonal Anti-Interferon-? antibody can be used in immunoblotting. Rat anti-Interferon-? antibody has shown no cross-reactivity for recombinant human IFN-? or recombinant rat IFN-?.
