Descrição detalhada : Spectrins are heterotetramers, that are composed of several ?and ? subunit isoforms. They are the constituents of G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) and the synaptic multiprotein complex. ?-Spectrin has 20 spectrin repeats (?1-?20) and ?-spectrin has 17 spectrin repeats (?1-?17). SPTA1 (spectrin ? 1) is located on chromosome 1q21-q23 and SPTB (spectrin ?) is located on chromosome 14q22-q23.2., Monoclonal anti-Spectrin (alpha and beta) (mouse IgG1 isotype) is produced by the fusion of mouse myeloma cells and splenocytes from an immunized mouse. Spectrin is a major constituent of the erythrocyte skeleton accounting for 25% of the total membrane protein and 75% of the cytoskeletal mass.
