Has no significant activity at the µ, delta, or kappa opioid receptors; however, nanomolar concentrations of Nociceptin inhibit, forskolin-stimulated adenylyl cyclase activity in cells transfected with the G-protein coupled receptor LC132, which is similar in sequence to the opioid receptor.
