The paper changes its color from colorless to red when the pH rises from 8 to 9. pH indicator papers supplied in rolls are better suited for longterm storage, since they are protected against external influences. pH indicator papers are manufactured by impregnating high-quality filter paper with indicator or mixed-indicator solutions. Therefore, the paper is dryed, cut and packed into the corresponding sizes.
