Descrição detalhada : Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF) is a cationic polypeptide and a constituent of ?-granules. PDGF is composed of chain A and B linked together by a disulphide bridge. PDGF heterodimers occurs as PDGF-AB and homodimers exists as FDGF-AA, PDGF-BB, PDGF-CC and PDGF-DD). The PDGFB gene is localized to pericytes in the brain and is mapped to human chromosome 7p22.3.
